Managaha

MANAGAHA ISLAND
A favorite islet among visitors. Located North of Tanapag Village, Managaha is an ideal place to enjoy water sports or relaxing under the sun. Aside from being the location of Carolinian chieftain, Chief Aghurubw's statue, there are still Japanese artilleries left from World War II.


 

Banzai Cliff

BANZAI CLIFF
Located on the northernmost tip of Saipan. Towards the end of the Battle of Saipan, Japanese soldiers and civilians elected to take their own lives rather than surrender to American forces. As they jumped to the rocks and sea below, they cried "Banzai" in tribute to the longevity of the emperor and the empire of Japan.


 

MOUNT TAPOTCHAU

MOUNT TAPOTCHAU
Saipan's highest peak has an elevation of 1,545 feet. From its summit, guests are able to see a 360 degree view of the island and during clear days, can see the nearby islands of Tinian on the South and Farallon de Medinilla and Anatahan to the north of Saipan.


 

BIRD ISLAND

BIRD ISLAND
Island Maigo Failan, as it is locally known, is a beautiful stone islet on a coral reef. Located at Saipan's northern end, the island is a sanctuary for a number of local birds.
